Valerie Gwinner

Ms. Valerie Gwinner works with colleagues across Pragma’s projects to help translate technical activities and impacts into diverse material that highlights their significance and relevance for target audiences. She also leads activities with project partners to be more strategic in their communications initiatives, enhance the resonance and uptake of their work, and improve transparency. Ms. Gwinner’s international development experience has spanned topics from food security to gender, health, sustainable development, resilience building, and livelihood diversification. She previously was Global Head of Communications for the International Potato Center (Lima, Peru), Communications Director for Health Systems Research Inc, (Washington DC), and has held positions as senior manager or consultant for government, academia, and international NGOs in multiple countries.
